Today would have been Shane and I's 2nd anniversary. I could get all sad and sappy and think about how our time together was cut short but I know Shane wouldn't want that. Instead, I'd rather think(and smile and laugh) about all the great times we had together.
Yes, one year of marriage sounds dreadfully sad, but it's not b/c Shane and I were together for 13 years! Just because we weren't married doesn't mean those years were any different. I was blessed to be part of his life for that long. So don't feel sorry for me today, instead, just remember something about him today. Something funny!
